DoD Directive 8570.1/RMF Training
The US Department of Defense (DoD) Directive 8570.1 for Information Assurance Training Certification and Workforce Management is in effect, and all DoD personnel and their integrated partners face the daunting task of identifying, categorizing, training, certifying, and managing all of their Information Assurance (IA) workers in one of six defined category levels.

RMF Training
RMF (Risk Management Framework) replaces DIACAP as a structured, 6-step process that integrates Information Security and Risk Management activities into a development life cycle, in coordination with NIST and DOD guidelines. DOD has added a tool for Information System Certification and Accreditation called eMASS (Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service), that captures former DIACAP, RMF, and FISMA (Federal Information Security Management Act) requirements.
